Get in the Holiday Spirit with this adorable Reindeer Christmas Decor
Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I have something new to share with you all. The holiday season beckons with an air of festivity and warmth, inspiring us to infuse our homes with the magic of Christmas. Combining mixed media techniques and a palette of Perfect Paints, I transformed a simple Christmas reindeer into a dazzling decor piece.
Beginning with a canvas reminiscent of the winter landscape, I chose SMA Vintage Patina acrylic as the foundation, setting the stage for a rich and inviting color scheme. This deep hue provided the perfect backdrop for the yuletide theme I envisioned.
To add depth and texture, I applied Halo acrylics, imparting a magical shimmer that evoked the glistening snow under the wintry sun.
But it was the meticulous stenciling process that truly brought this reindeer to life. Using Shimmering Sage and Jack Frost Polishing Plaster.
Elevating the textural experience further, I made a mix featuring Red Wagon Acrylics, Dove's Wing Polishing Plaster, Shimmering Stucco, and Clear X-Small Glass Bead Gel.
Added Red Wagon acrylic blotches & polishing plasters over the pines to vibe with the theme of the decor.
The addition of elements from the 49&Market Christmas Spectacular collection augmented the narrative within the piece, transforming it into a miniature Christmas scene nestled within the reindeer's silhouette.
