Hi everyone! Jenn here today with part one of a two part project using Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paints! Join me as I walk you through how I created an ombre effect on these old boring frames!

Ornate teal and green frames on a white background, surrounded by blue and yellow flowers and paint cans. Bright and artistic mood.

Additional Supplies:

Instructions:

Prep Frames with a coat of either white matte acrylic paint or white gesso.

Frames Coated in White

Next Gather a mix of Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paints (3 or 4 colors that coordinate) and a water bottle and paint brush.

Spray area on top with water and then apply the first color, moving it around in the water with a brush.

Clean off the brush or use a new one for the next color and repeat.

Three to four coordinating colors is best. When adding each color lightly brush them into each other to create that smooth transition.

Once the color is completely dry add white softly over raised areas.

Ornate oval frame in blue and green with floral details on a black background. No text or visible emotions.
