How do Shimmering Matte Acrylics work?
Shimmering matte acrylics are water-based and easy to use. Simply brush SMA onto your project using a brush or brayer. The first coat is semi-opaque, becoming more opaque with each layer. Allow SMA to dry between coats to create depth of color. SMA can be blended to create unique color combinations. Shimmering Matte Acrylics can be mixed with our fluid mediums to modify their consistency. Mix with Perfect Glaze Medium to create watercolor/glaze characteristics. Use with our perfect thickening gel additive to use through a stencil or create unique oil/sculptural characteristics.
