DIY Embellishments with Perfect Paints
Hello crafty friends, Jody here! I had to scrap at least one Halloween picture before the chaos of Christmas begins. I grabbed my favorite Perfect Paints products for this Boo-ti-ful scrapbook page.
I used the gorgeous bold colors of the Shimmering Matte Acrylics in Red Wagon , Rain Slicker, Washed Teal and Barely There.
After combing Red Wagon and Rain Slicker to create an orange color I painted the candy die cut. I paired the picture and paints with the Trick or Treat collection from Photo Play.
Then I use Rain Slicker all on it's own to color another candy die cut. I love the bright yellow and the contrast it has against the black.
I then painted the last die cut combining Washed Teal and Rain Slicker to get a pretty green. After all the die cuts dried I added splatters of Barely There to make each embellishment pop!
The completed page is so much fun! The painted candies give the page a youthful feel! I added a few stickers from the collection but nothing else was needed!
I created a Youtube video below to the share my project.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I have inspired you to use paint on your next project.
Jody
