Today, I’ll be sharing a tutorial of my Christmas Ornament that I’ve created using the fantastic range of products from Perfect Paints.
Â
With a blend of techniques and creativity this ornament is such a joy to make and really get you in the spirit of the Holidays to come!
Let's take a look at the products used to create this ornament!
Holiday Florals and Greenery
49&Market Christmas Spectacular Papers
49&Market Christmas Spectacular Laser Cut Elements
Wooden Ornament Blanks
Glittery Snowflake
Directions:
To begin, prepare your ornament by applying a layer of clear or white gesso to the surface. Allow the gesso to dry or use a heat tool on a low setting.
Next, Add a layer of Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint in Northern Lights. This will act as a base to the polishing plaster that you will texturize.

Use a palette knife to dab Frosted Pine Polishing Plaster on to the surface and edges. This will create the texture. Allow this to dry or use a heat tool on a low setting.
Once the textured surface is dry, use a sponge to dab Dove's Wing Polishing Plaster to the surface and edges leaving some green peeking through. This will create a snowy look.
Next cut your decorative paper to fit and assemble the ornament. Add your florals, ephemera, and other embellishments to finish.
Thanks so much for visiting and viewing my project using Perfect Paints! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of these amazing products and create something beautiful! I will be creating more ornaments and Holiday products to share with you soon!
