Instructions:
Start by preparing the background. Cut an 8" circle from decorative paper. Use White Crackle Medium through a Stencil to create texture.

Once the crackle medium is dried and cracking, spray water in random areas. Add small amounts of Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint in Espresso with the tip of a wet paintbrush. Pick up the paper and move it around to let the paint mix with water and move about the piece.

Use a heat tool to dry the paint and repeat the above step using Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint in Peacock Blue.
Next, we will mix 2 parts matte acrylic white paint,1 part Peacock Blue Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint and 2 small drops of green matte acrylic paint to achieve a patina color.

Repeat the water/paint technique described above. Allow to dry.
Use the same stencil and Riverstone Texture Medium on the wooden loop. Once texture is dry, paint with Espresso Shimmering Matte Acrylic paint. Use a finger to rub "patina" mix over the textured areas.

Use a strong adhesive or hot glue gun to adhere the loop to the background. Splatter liquid embossing ink on the background and add copper embossing powder. Heat set with heat gun.
Next we will mix up a gorgeous rust color using equal parts of Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paints in Rain Slicker and Red Wagon.

Once "rust" is mixed use the water technique again to add the rust to the background in small areas.

Next we will prepare the chipboard gears. Use an array of sizes and designs. Paint these first with Washed Teal Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint, then with the "patina" mix. Add splatters of liquid embossing ink and copper embossing powder and heat set.

Arrange gears, focal image, and other embellishments onto the background as shown. Use scraps of chipboard or foam to adhere arrangement at various levels to create depth. Once everything is adhered add some bling stones painted with Peacock Blue Shimmering Matte Acrylic Paint. I also added some Peacock blue watered down to gears and loop frame.

Thanks so much for visiting and viewing my project using Perfect Paints! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of these amazing products and create something beautiful! I will be creating more to share with you soon!
