Hello everyone!! Jenn here and I am so happy to share another fun altered project with you! This adorable little camera frame was once drab and boring. By adding some gorgeous paper, die cuts and florals along with new Polishing Plaster colors and Matte Acrylic Paints from Perfect Paints it is now a beautiful piece of home decor any nature lover would adore! Let me show you how I did this fun project!

Supplies:

Other products used:

49&Market paper and die cuts

Clear Gesso

White Acrylic Paint

Pearls

Flowers

Chipboard

Distress Ink Walnut Stain

Distress Embossing Powder Walnut Stain

Decorative Stencil (wood grain)

Molded Clay Mushrooms

MDF Camera Frame

Instructions:

Prepare the frame by adhering decorative paper to the cover. This can be done easily by drawing the outline onto the paper with pencil and then cutting it out. Distress the edges of the paper with a distressing tool or edge of scissors.

Coat the paper and edges of the frame in clear gesso and allow to dry.

Worn beige file folder with faded text and floral design on a light background. Edges are frayed, creating a vintage feel.

Next add a small amount of each polishing plaster onto a palette or glass mat.

Jars of polishing plaster texture medium labeled Frosted Pine, Sunset Blush, and Clover Honey on a grid background. Paint swatches beside each jar.
Polishing Plasters

Lay a decorative stencil on the frame front and apply polishing plasters one at a time from dark to light. This will create a beautiful mixed texture in the background.
