On the 5th day of Christmas tag – Dear Santa!
Another quick and easy tag designed by Michelle Befort, one of the designers at Big Mouth Scrappers in Forney Tx!

Embossing powder - gold
Mixed media white paper

Dies Used: Sizzix Bigz Vintage Typewriter

Optional: Small embellishment
Directions
Tag Preparation
Emboss tag using Keyboard embossing folder
Mix 50/50 Red Wagon and Glaze and paint the background of the tag – let dry
Using Honeycomb stamp and gold embossing powder – stamp background
Typewriter Preparation
Trace the bottom section of the typewriter onto a piece of mixed media paper – set aside.
Paint return keys using Vintage Mercury. Let dry
Paint the typewriter with stripes of each of these colors True Blue, Vintage Mercury, Aged Copper and Espresso [not shadow]. Not layered but rather stripes Let dry
Paint a “thin” layer of shadow over the strips of color. Let dry
When completely dry, lightly sand to reveal some spots of colors under the shadow.
Paint return keys using Vintage Mercury. Let dry
Paint the hand cut bottom half typewriter cut from mixed media paper using Vintage Mercury – let dry.
Glue to the back of the typewriter.
Completing the tag
Distress edges of the tag using Vintage Photo ink.
Attach typewriter
Wet a small piece of seam binding and paint with Moss Green [mixing in a bit of espresso to darken] and Red Wagon auntil the desired color is achieved.
Attach embellishment to ribbon if desired.
