Painted Fabric Pillow

Hello! My name Susan Whittemore and I am so lucky to be Cheryl Mezzetti’s Aunt. I am retired and a grandmother of two girls, Tess and Emma. I have always loved Art, whether i am painting, quilting or making cards I find i am always creating! At one time I had my artwork and cards in different shops in Massachusetts!

I was so excited to find out that Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylics can be used on fabric without the need for fabric medium! I immediately set out to find some perfect fabric to make a pillow!

First, I sketched onto the cotton fabric the design that I wanted to create. I added a bit of ther Perfect Gloss Medium {or you can use the Perfect Glaze medium for more transparency} mixing the mediums into the Shimmering matte Acrylics made them glide onto the fabric effortlessly!

To create the "berries" on the pillow, I simply added a tiny amount of the Perfect thickening gel to the Shimmering Matte Acrylics! Mixing the paints together or layering the paints over each other is easy and doesn't create a muddy look! The finished pillow has a slight shimmer and looks perfect on my yellow chair!
