Listen to the Wind....

Hello Perfect Paint Fans, Lynne Forsythe here!

I had been looking at a Pinterest Board by Bloom Nation and was inspireed to

create my own Inspiration Board from their images!

The ideas began swirling around in my head and

I wanted to “try” them so I pulled out my Art Journal.

I pulled out some vintage McCall Magazines that my mom

had given me and tore a couple of pages out.

(I actually had a very hard time doing this.....felt wrong!)

I then applied Multi Medium to my art journal

and then adhered the vintage pages.

If you looked at my Inspiration Board you would see

ALOT of white and brick inspirational images.

To achieve that look, I applied a thick layer of

Gesso to my pages and let it dry!

To create the brick, I pulled out TCW stencil ~ Brick and

which I applied randomly until I achieved the desired look.

I then pulled out TCW stencil ~ Believe Script

and using the Groove Tool with the sponge attachment

randomly on my pages.

This is where I got LOST on my creative journey

hence there are no more step out photos......

To create the flowers, I used

TCW stencil ~ Daily Buzz.

I used several

Red Wagon

Rain Slicker

Cantaloupe

layering on the the colors,

spritzing with water, when wet to create drips.

I created the flower centers using a sponge.

I finished off my flowers with stems created

using the TCW Daily Buzz stencil and

They didn’t come out as “heavy” as I wanted them to be

so I applied more Moss Green with my palette knife.

Can I say how I love the depth you can achieve with

Perfect Paints Shimmering Matte Acrylic??!??!

I added shadow using Faber Castell Pitt Pen ~ Big Brush

and outlines with Faber Castell ~ Artist Pen.

I finished off my journal pages with one of

Yvonne Blair Designs/Impression Obsession stamps.

I stamped onto a piece of white tissue paper and

applied it to my page with Multi Medium.

Here are a couple of close ups.....

Hope you have enjoyed my creative discovery

now to try this on a larger scale!!
